We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Creative Director to join our political consulting firm, specializing in politics and campaign management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of political messaging, campaign strategy, and public affairs, coupled with exceptional creative vision and leadership skills. As Chief Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and visual identity of political campaigns, driving engagement and mobilization across diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development of creative strategies and messaging frameworks for political campaigns, aligning with clients’ goals and objectives.
  • Campaign Conceptualization: Spearhead the creation of compelling campaign concepts, leveraging insights and data-driven approaches to drive impact and resonance.
  • Creative Execution: Oversee the production of campaign materials, including advertisements, digital content, collateral, and other assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Mentor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of creatives, including copywriters, designers, and digital strategists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic counsel on creative direction, messaging, and audience targeting.
  • Political Landscape Analysis: Stay abreast of current events, political trends, and public opinion, informing creative strategies and messaging tactics accordingly.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all campaign materials adhere to legal and regulatory standards, including campaign finance laws and disclosure requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in creative leadership roles within political consulting, public affairs, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful political campaigns, with a focus on messaging, branding, and audience engagement.
  • Strong understanding of political communication strategies, including earned and paid media tactics, issue advocacy, and voter mobilization efforts.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex ideas and strategies to diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations related to political advertising and campaign communications.
